Neighbours 30th Anniversary Campaign

The brief

We were briefed to raise awareness of the hit Australian TV show turning 30, and to create buzz and ‘talk-ability’ surrounding the 30th Anniversary across the UK. The client also wanted an increase in viewership, and for the show to trend across social media surrounding the 30th Anniversary.

The campaign

  • Held an exclusive red carpet event for the 30th Anniversary party with key cast, and confirmed key media and celebrity guests in attendance.
  • Managed and oversaw a press trip to Australia to do exclusive behind the scene set visits on Ramsay Street, in return for stand-out features.
  • Created a viral video of the Neighbours cast re-enacting popular soap ‘Eastenders’ scenes as they turned 30 a month before Neighbours did.
  • Created an interactive press pack including a video which showcased 30 best Neighbours moments and other creative elements for the media to use.
  • Full-service press office activity.
