Aim

To create cut-through media coverage and exposure for an independent film release during the height of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Approach

To captivate the media, JV Publicity organised and managed the first ever Drive-In film premiere in April 2020 with the cast, media and celebrities in attendance. In keeping with Covid-19 restrictions, this event broke the mould. The campaign was supported with a full-service, proactive press office which included cast interviews, film previews, reviews, and listings.

Results

National TV and radio coverage on leading shows including, Good Morning Britain, Sky News, ITV News, Channel 4 News and mass newspaper, magazine, and online media coverage around the release date, resulting in huge exposure and vast ticket sales.
